kevin durioKevin Durio is a Professional Fitness Trainer certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and The Cooper Institute, with additional education in functional conditioning and bio-mechanics. Kevin is also a Certified Ropes/Challenge Course Facilitator and is an experienced public speaker on team building and health related topics as well as personal safety.


Kevin is a certified boxing coach under USA Boxing, the governing body of International Games, Pan Am games and Olympic boxing. Kevin has 40 years of Martial Arts training, holds Black Belt degrees in two styles of Karate and has additional training in a number of diverse Arts. As a result, Kevin is the Founder of Urban Defense Training - UDT, a new mixed skill fighting system developed for law enforcement and military use. This Martial Art is now being taught to Police and Military personnel in the Dallas / Fort Worth and across Texas for its practicality and effectiveness. Kevin is a former fitness and defensive tactics (hand to hand combat) instructor with Charlie Mike Enterprises which provided specialized training to SWAT teams in Texas and across the country, as well as the fitness instructor / coordinator for the Cedar Valley Law Enforcement Academy. Kevin also has specialized training in law enforcement and military fitness issues through TSAC - Tactical Strength And Conditioning, a training arm of NSCA.

 

Creator/presenter of B.E.S.T. Boxing; Boxing Especially Structured for Trainers; an NSCA CEU program for personal trainers teaching how to train clients in basic boxing techniques and conditioning. I am the only NSCA Continuing Education provider and presenter for the B.E.S.T. Boxing program.
